Data
The data used are in plain text. This is safer than binaries data. Size is no more a problem, and zipping and unzipping is fast on recent computer.
Display
Data can be shown in tables, 1D-, 2D- and 3D-Diagram, barchart and specific post-processing. 1D is the preferred representation as Tk canvas does not use a graphical accelerator. 2D and 3D are not yet available.
Measurements
Tkfab has unique features to help you gaining time in most measurements : times, statistical, ranges,...It has the tools absent in most plotting softwares.
Calculator
A calculator will help on handy and quick calculations on double. Complex number, functions and waveforms operators are not yet available. A unit converter is available.
Tools
Parameters
Parameters for calculations, visualizations, tests, are available as listbox for quick setting in each session. They are stored as project.
Scripts
You can apply one action, or more, on a file, or several actions on a set of several files using scripting or task automation.
Know-how
In addition, other tools are available on request ( as libraries ) for many different engineering fields and physical analysis.
Help
Tooltip popups, integrated and comprehensive help, warning and error logs ( with indicator ), and short summary of action form help.
